It was a very merry christmas!

It was a very merry christmas this year at the Glaesman household. Carson was a lot of fun but wait til next year...things could get interesting. Travis had a fun time dressing up like santa claus and everyone had a good laugh. we will be having christmas with the brandner side in a few days and that should be equally exciting. All in all, things went well this year. I was excited to get some new plates and a nicer digital camera and travis was happy that I was happy (when mama is happy, everyone's happy). Hope everyone else's christmas was a exciting one as well. The one picture of all the kids is all of my dad and mary's grandchildren. This picture totally proves how our household was on christmas, chaotic. try and get 6 kids to look and smile all at the same time for a picture..yeah right. the picture of the babies is (l to r) isabelle, heather's newest addition born oct. 27th, Carson born sept. 2, and aubriana, dale and jessica's, born sept. 22. all born within a month and a half of eachother. they are all getting so big. wait until next year....happy blogging.

Like father, Like son.....

Today was a funny day at the Glaesman household. Travis came home from work and of course, had to play playstation. well, i was busy making supper and needed him to hold Carson...as you can see, i not only have one child but two...i am stuck in a house full of testosterone! Carson is going to be just like his dadsomeday, scary. he already likes playing football on the playstation with travis...look out chad and mitch...someday, you will have even more competetion!

Appreciate your family...

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Some members of my family were in an accident near fargo while traveling to st. cloud for the holiday and although some got pretty hurt, things could have been ALOT worse and this accident has brought home the thought of...what if my family wasn't here tomorrow. It is very scary to think that people can be taken from you so quickly and you couldn't even say goodbye. Things like this just make you a little more appreciative that you have family around you and makes you cherish the times you do have with them. anyway, on a much happier note, everyone is doing good. our thanksgiving (other than the family accident) was pretty good. things went well and we were able to spend time with dale and his family who we don't get to see very often. his children are getting so big. dillan is going to be 3!! where does the time go? I have posted a picture of dale's newest addition, Aubriana Nicole with my little buddy. they are 20 days apart and yet seem so different. Enjoy!! until next time...

Nothing new...

hi all. hope all is well with everyone. nothing new going on here. carson is growing like a weed. we had the dreaded first shots and they went rather well in my opinion. he did better than his mom i think. we are constantly filling our calenders with more places to go for the holidays. Between travis' family as well as mine, no one can seem to stay married... not that that's a bad thing...more people to love, but it makes for some hectic holidays. it is almost impossible to be everywhere and then trying to fit in working and travis' scedule is nuts because people are pushing to get their building off before the snow really flies...awww life. anyways, hope all is well with everyone else and if i don't get a chance to see you for thanksgiving, hope you have a happy holiday filled with food and laughter. until next time....ps. i added a picture of carson for your viewing pleasure...enjoy!

No rest for the weary...

Hi all. hope everything is well with you. It's approximately 3:20 am. i am at work and everyone is sleeping so i figured why not update my blog while i get paid. well the whole yard light thing is settled. it was terisa rohweder's pickup and supposedly someone else was driving, yeah right. anyways, her parents offered to pay for it to get replaced so this has been a busy week talking to electricians and carpenters. hopefully, the light will be up and running before the snow flies.

Carson is getting so big. as you can see, he is turning into quite the little man. has has found his voice and loves to share it with us. especially at around 2am when it's time to sleep. i think he does it at that time so that we aren't so upset that he's been keeping us up all night. what a cutie he is, though.

Work has been going well. i'm glad to be back (about as much as you can be that your back at work). Travis has been working really hard as well. Everyone wants their buildings moved before the snow flies so they have been working long hours and it still isn't good enough for some, but you can't please everyone. well i suppose i better get back to work, afterall that's what i should be doing anyways. hope everyone has a good day....sleep tight.

Not So Silent Night!

All was quiet in the Glaesman household. Carson was hungry and I was about to get up and feed him. All of the sudden, "CRASH.... SCREECH," I look out the window and to my dismay, there is a Dodge pickup parked sideways in my alley. So the good citizen I am, i call 911. To me it looks like they have hit my neighbors tree so i tell the nice man on the other line just that. i could see it was a dogde pickup but was unable to see the color other than that it was a dark color. travis is awake at this time as well, he goes to make sure the front door is locked. He comes back to the bedroom and says, "Shelly, they took out your yard light." By this time i'm off the phone. i go out to the kitchen and to my dismay, my once beautiful yard light is smashed all the way across my driveway, into my neighbors yard. There are chunks of vehicle scattered along with the bricks that have traveled nearly 20 feet from where they originated. By this time, the crooks have fled the scene. I wait patiently for our fearless cop, Tom and together we scope out the damages. there is a huge chunk of wood missing from an MDU pole that is in front of my house with some maroon paint on it as well....mmmmmmm only one person in town with a maroon dodge.....ok, fast forward to 6:45 am today. travis and i scope out the damages again. we had difficulty seeing all the damage last night becuase the damage to the MDU pole has shaken the light completely out and that too is scattered across main street. About 20 minutes later, i get a phone call from travis on his way to work. He states "Terisa Rohweder's pickup is parked in front of her hotel and it's all smashed." So i call our fearless leader, Tom, and let him know. Wow! what an exciting morning it's been for me and it's only 8AM. So now comes the fun part of wasting a whole day cleaning and calling for insurance, electricity, and carpentry. OOOOO, Lucky me. until next time....

It's Blogger Maddness!

Welcome to my blog site. Since my Gma Deb, Chad, and Mitch all have a site, I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and create one myself. I will occasionally be adding pictures of Carson for you all to enjoy, because he is possibly one of the cutest kids ever made (i'm not biased or anything :) We did some trick or treating (if you can call it that with a 2 month old) for halloween. Travis had a fun time being a kid himself and scaring the little kids that came to our house. Hope everyone else had a good halloween, until next time, happy blogging ~Shelly
